What to expect?
The tour begins with a presentation of the history and architecture of Les Invalides, which will allow you to get an insight of the daily routine of the soldiers who lived there back in the 17th century. Your private tour will then continue at the monumental Dome Church in which the tomb of Napoleon I is housed under a magnificent golden cupola. Last but not least, your guide will show you a selection of the treasures of the army museum including: a viking sword, the stuffed horse of Napoleon I, a tank of WWI, the sword of La Fayette, an Enigma machine, the military models of the Sun King, uniforms and armours of the french kings…
You can stay in the museum for longer and explore the collections at your own pace.
